Mother's Day 2014

Kyle and I are leaving for Bermuda on Mother's Day so we celebrated on the Saturday before.  I am so grateful for my family and miss my own Mother every day!

Spring Summit 2014

One of our favorite events every year is going to Scottsdale, Arizona to the Spring Summit, formerly the Fiesta Frolic.  PAC 12 meetings were held the first few days we were there.  Here is to our 10th year being able to attend.

Dave and Susie Christensen were in Arizona while we were at the Summit.  They have a house close by and Dave was recruiting in the area.  We were able to go golfing with them our first night there.

I am not a good golfer and did not bring golf shoes but I was game to play.  It was a lot of fun!

There are big dinners each night.  They always have a great buffet and it is great seeing the people we know every year and meeting new ones.

While Kyle was in meetings I was soaking up some sun.

Family Spring Skiing Day

The opportunities to go skiing this year are dwindling down due to the warmer weather.  Kyle

decided we all needed to go one last time together.  It was 80 degrees at our home and 15 minutes

 up on the mountain it was in the 50's.  Spring skiing is my personal favorite.The sun was

shinning and it was a beautiful day!

Melissa and Alex each had bad wipe outs that worried me but turned out to be fine.  It is so much fun skiing with my family.  Good skiers or better skiers, we all stay together going down the hill.  Those speedsters are so nice to wait for cautious ones like me!  What a fun day!!!

Alex turned 22 on March 16th

We had a birthday night baseball party, along with Julie's family.  A typical Sunday evening activity when kids were young.

Everyone got a chance to hit.  Kyle used to do all the pitching, now Tyler and Alex do a great job.

Attended the Football Senior Dinner.  Going to miss everyone!

Kylie Turns 16!

It is hard to believe my baby is 16 years old!  It always seems to me that once the kids start driving

they become somewhat independent and start that slight pulling away from the parents.  

It relieves me from taking her everywhere but takes away from that time together. 

Kylie is one tough little girl, she played football at Utah football camp with the boys for 4 years.  

She has been around Utah football all her life and knows more than I do about the game.  

Along with her older sister, she is a great cheerleader for the boys in the family.

 Kyle surprised Kylie (and me) by sending 16 red roses to her at school.  

 The family all went to PF Chang's for the birthday dinner.

Kylie is beautiful, smart, and funny,  we are so grateful she is ours!

Utah Football Wives Workout

My crossfit workout partner, Sara Hill, moved to Ogden with her husband who is the new 

Weber State Football Head Coach.  It did not feel the same without her at Crossfit so I started a

Utah Football Wives workout group up at the football facility.  Kyle found a trainer for us,

Tony Maddalone.  All the wives are invited to come if they can.  This has been so good

for me and doing workouts with a friend or group of friends makes all the difference.

Kylie Sweethearts Dance

It was 4 days before Kylie turns 16 and the Brighton High School had their Sweethearts Dance.

She asked a friend from school named Landon McNeil.  Getting the dress and all it takes
the girls to get ready these days is so different from when I was 16.  She had a good time and
they went with a large group of friends.
