Utah State @ Utah 2013

30-26

I was really nervous for this first game against Utah State, after losing last year and knowing how hard that was, I knew it would be worse to lose 2 years in a row.  So it was an important win for us in more ways that one.

Kylie was cheering at her first JV game at Brighton so I went there first to watch her.

When I got to the stadium I was able to meet with President Uchtdorf and his wife Harriet.  They are both so nice.  They made one trip around the field saying hello to people and taking pictures with them.

President Uchtdordf and his wife also met with the family of the football player who had passed away, Gaius 'Keio" Vaenuku. This season the football players are wearing a sticker on their helmets in memory and honor of Keio.

This is my view of Kyle throughout the game
There were moments in this game that I was very unsure of the outcome.  Utah State has a great QB and played really well.  Just the kind of nail biting game I don't care for!
Alex was able to dress for the game.  He is a walk on.

Player and Coaches Wives Party 2013

This year we had our Player/Coach Wife party at Kalani and Timberly Sitake's home. They have the perfect home to entertain with the best back yard.  All of the kids that came just played and played.  We had pizza, salads, appetizers and great deserts.  It was just a nice evening visiting and getting to know one another better.  Thanks to all who came.  Such a fun group of women!
Unfortunately some of the wives left before I could get it together and take a picture.  From L to R, not including baby names on front row are Sara Hill, Ann Argust, Brittany Rogers, Kristi Ellison, Viola Tuiaki, Jessica Reilly, Delany Palepoi, and Jessica Tuipulotu. Row two is Megan Orchard, Timberly Sitake, Me, Helen Buchanan, Rhea McGill, Arianne Murphy, Kiana Williams, and Ashley Chapman. Who left before picture-Brandie Rudy, and Liz Scalley

Grand Opening Football Center

Today was the grand opening of the Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Center.  They spent a year and a half working out of trailers while this beautiful building was being built.  It is finally completed and the staff has moved in.

Kyle spoke at the ceremony along with player Trevor Reilly, Spence Eccles, Chris Hill, and University President Pershing.
